To create an account, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a Social Security number
- Have a valid U.S. mailing address
- Have an email address
Instructions:
- Visit https://www.SocialSecurity.gov/myaccount
- Select “Sign In or Create an Account”
- Select “Create An Account”
- Read and agree to the Terms of Service
- Tell the SSA who you are
- Verify your identity
- Create account detail
- Select how to receive your security code
- Enter the security code you received
- Press “Submit” and you’ve created an account on My Social Security
